Credit Controller

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller. This role requires an ability to take on a new challenge collaborating with large clients with multiple purchases and invoicing. We are looking for a candidate who comes from a similar background who is confident with using Microsoft packages, especially Excel and excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

You will enjoy taking ownership of your accounts, building relationships with clients and problem solving. Working in a team of 10, you will contribute a proactive and efficient service to the credit control team and wider finance function.

This role is working Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5.00pm, with a salary range of £25,000-£27,000 depending on experience.

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Chasing debt for allocated number of customers
  • Control orders in a proactive manner
  • Posting of cash to ledger
  • Raising credits and ad hoc invoices
  • Use of credit insurance
  • Resolving queries in a timely manner
  • Provide support and cover for team members of the credit control team
  • Exposure of EDI is an advantage

Skills & Experienced Required: 

  • Knowledge of debit notes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Great communication
  • Self-discipline
  • Love working in a fast-paced environment
  • Work to targets and deadlines
